Pros

Great graduate scheme (accredited), seeing a lot of the industry and learning rapidly. Very good job prospects upon completing scheme.

Cons

Not given a particular job upon starting, can feel a bit useless sometimes when you aren't very busy and everyone else is!!

Pros

Variety, large enough to avoid too much political dross, huge investment in cultural improvement to reduce discrimination, exposure to numerous career paths to enable you to realise your own, working with the largest working class employee population in UK; an abundance of character

Cons

Entrenched cultural issues; hierarchical, white male domination, biased recruitment and development practices; if your face fits

Pros

The organisation was supportive of staff development and strong people focus. Salaries are good as are working conditions and benefits.

Cons

Sometimes inefficient and limited communications from top to bottom. Due to the scale of operations, age of route infrastructure and deliverables demanded targets were sometimes unrealistic.
