Pros

Great pay. Sundays are not part of the working week so if you want can have every sunday off. Best pay is for working sundays though. Great people. Skilled job.

Cons

Can get a bit boring if you're working a lower grade or on your own.

Pros

Good Pension scheme. Due to size there are pockets of good places to work but also pockets of very poor departments to work. Its a failing organisation which creates such cultures.

Cons

Systemic Bullying and many people having strokes and mental health issues as a consequence. HR close ranks on investigations and do not act. Victims/complainants are side-lined, isolated and eventually made (by re-structuring) redundant. Managers close ranks. Very poor atmosphere in office - fear of 'rocking the boat'. Long hours, no lunch breaks, performance reviews doctored to be negative. Initiative and creativity definitely not wanted. Constant reorganisation, so having to apply for own job every 12 moths and lack of quality and clear leadership…

Pros

Some very nice people. MKQ is a stunning workplace. Salaries generous and well over paid for the work required.

Cons

Dated, long in the tooth senior managers stunting creativity waiting for fat VR/CR. Comms terrible! Looking to forward your career - no chance. Ethics and values will be well tested. Be sure you know where you are as you may sell your soul. Bandist, promotion not on skill but by those needing to secure antiquated ways. Deskilling common as is being deployed regularly outside of skill set.
