Pros

The company offers very good employee benefits, such as 6 months of full pay Maternity leave or 75% of travel subsidy (only rail). Also there is a flexible working dynamic inbeded

Cons

As a large and publicly reclassified organisation, I find tedious how slow sometimes processes can be. We need approval for nearly everything and the number of people in approval chain seems endless

Pros

Safe job (almost), good leave benefits, ideal for girls planning for babies in near future... (6 months full pay for maternity), you have option to take stress and work hard and get good recognition (but not £)

Cons

bureaucracy, huge top management (2800+ employees above management grade) No career progression unless your really really smart...

Pros

great working environment, friendly co workers. No expectation to stay late infact the place is deserted by 4pm

Cons

no one takes responsibility/ownership so things can take a long time to resolved Management thinks pretending to be interested in staff means they are doing a good job Career progression - seems like its down to who you know
