Pros

Tech stack is good to learn

Cons

Despite failing to credit my salary into my bank account, the company has generated official salary slips for these months. These payslips clearly demonstrate that Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) was withheld from my gross earnings. This constitutes a severe financial offense: either the company is pocketing tax money deducted from an unpaid employee, or they are filing fraudulent financial records with the Income Tax Department claiming a disbursement that never occurred.

Pros

I truly appreciate the flexible working culture here, as it creates a healthy balance between professional responsibilities and personal life. The environment feels supportive and respectful, and that makes it easier to stay motivated and productive. I also find the compensation to be fair and aligned with the work expectations, which adds to the overall positive experience. One of the standout aspects is the amazing food service. The lunch options are really good, and the availability of snacks and the fresh shop makes the office experience even more convenient and enjoyable. It’s a thoughtful benefit that employees genuinely value on a day-to-day basis. The workplace culture also stands out because of the engaging celebrations and activities throughout the year. Events like Family Day, Christmas celebrations, Onam, and other occasions help bring people together and create a warm, inclusive, and family-like atmosphere. These moments make the organization feel more connected and people-oriented. In addition, the office support is efficient and reliable, which helps keep daily operations smooth. The open office setup is another plus, as it feels fresh, welcoming, and collaborative. Overall, it is a positive place to work with a good mix of flexibility, support, comfort, and employee engagement.

Cons

While there are several positive aspects of the company, there are also a few areas that need improvement. The HR system still feels a bit old school and could benefit from a more modern, employee-friendly approach. Although the benefits are good, the administrative support behind them feels quite limited at times, with a lack of depth in knowledge and a rather superficial handling of queries. In many cases, the team appears very busy, which can make it difficult to get timely and effective support. The lady who joined new feels that she knows everything. Another challenge is that managers above my grade often seem to be under pressure from global expectations, but there is not always enough clarity in terms of goals, priorities, or execution. This can create confusion and make alignment more difficult at the team level. Commute and infrastructure are also areas that could be better supported. Office transport is not provided, and parking is very limited, which can make the daily travel experience inconvenient for employees. Overall, while the company has many good qualities, these operational and support-related gaps affect the employee experience and would benefit from attention.
