Pros

The free food. The free drinks. The free tv watching.

Cons

When you do the math for your part-time with bills you realize how even working in a corporate environment is not the best. I was let go without notice. One second I was working the next day I was gone. I think the worst types of companies are the ones that smile in your face but plots to get rid of you. If you're working at NewsMax HQ then you will find out why people don't talk to you- it's simple you won't last long. It's friendly people with venom behind their backs. I don't approve of the COO nor do I approve of the products they sell or represent. Conservative is one word but more of an agenda. Your views don't matter if it's not with the CEO views of support for Trump, border walls and etc. This is a relaxed environment at first but even this is naive. Don't work here take your positions elsewhere.

Thank you for your input. We are always trying to improve our sales, as well as our communication. The department you were part of is a new area for Newsmax and we have been working to improve the exact things that you mentioned. Unfortunately, that department is results based.

Pros

I can’t think of one positive thing about this hell.

Cons

Working for Newsmax was a soul-crushing experience that drained every ounce of passion and joy from my being. From the moment I set foot in the office, it became painfully clear that this was not a place that valued its employees or their well-being. The toxic environment fostered by management and colleagues alike made each day feel like an uphill battle against despair. Communication at Newsmax is not just bad—it was non-existent. Expecting employees to be mind readers, important information was never communicated, leaving us to discover things only through being yelled at. The disregard from producers to follow network guidelines further exemplified the lack of care or professionalism within the company. Rather than nurturing talent and encouraging growth, Newsmax seemed determined to stifle any hint of ambition or creativity. It’s as if they take pleasure in watching their employees wither under the weight of their indifference. Any attempts to excel or make a positive impact were met with resistance. Adding insult to injury, the absence of annual reviews left me feeling undervalued. It was as if my contributions were deemed unworthy of acknowledgment or improvement. This disregard for basic professional practices only served to deepen the sense of disillusionment and frustration felt by me and all who dared to invest their time and energy into this abhorrent company. But maybe the most egregious offense was the complete disregard for fair compensation and recognition of hard work. Despite pouring my heart and soul into my job, I was consistently undervalued and underpaid, treated more like a disposable commodity than a valuable member of the team. Only apply to this job if you want to surround yourself with people who will constantly diminish you, make you feel inferior, undervalue you, underpay you, treat you like a robot, gaslight you, and disrespect you. Working at Newsmax means subjecting yourself to a culture of toxicity and abuse, where your worth as a human being is routinely undermined and disregarded. If you value your mental and emotional well-being, steer clear of this company at all costs. In the end, my time at Newsmax left me feeling utterly defeated and devoid of hope for the future. I would caution anyone considering a position with this company to proceed with extreme caution. Don't be fooled by promises of opportunity or advancement; Newsmax will only drag you down and crush your spirit until there's nothing left.
