Newsmax is a good place to work, but it depends on what position/manager/coworkers you have.

Pros

The people are what made my experience positive. I’ll miss them the most. Nice atmosphere/building. Free coffee, sodas, snacks, and team/morale building special events.

Cons

Sometimes certain people can get hot under the collar and accuse before gathering all the facts. Not a whole lot of room for advancement unless somebody quits or gets terminated due to financial struggles.

The chance to get a lot of experience in different roles with their TV operation, since it was essentially a "startup."

Cons

The fact that it was a startup led to austerity measures that adversely affected the quality of the programming.
