Pros

Decent salary...Free Snacks, nice location.

Cons

This place sucks, Complete lack of management organization. They don't care about you, and a very high turnover rate. Their sales department is a popularity contest, the company veterans get all the business. If you're new, most likely won't last... you might survive with a decent pay for a few weeks but that's about it.

We have been working to improve the management structure of the company, especially in sales. Our turnover rate is on par with the national average, but we are always looking for ways to improve our rate. Especially in sales, all new sales reps start at the same place, so veterans have built their business from scratch and have a lot more business because of that. If you have questions or concerns, you can always approach with suggestions.

Pros

You will gain a great deal of knowledge that will be helpful to you in future jobs and life in general - mostly what not to do.

Cons

Unfriendly, militant and overtly hostile work environment. No respect for team members, socialization among co-workers is prohibited, and any contact with former employees is grounds for termination.

Newsmax Media does not have a policy, whether written or unwritten, about socialization among co-workers, nor about contacting former employees being grounds for termination. A number of our employees do socialize outside of work and a good number of former employees remain good friends of current employees. Thank you for the opportunity to continue our process of removing confusion at the company. We will address this to make sure everyone understands that we have no policy like you've described.

Probably the WORST place I've ever worked.

Pros

Decent salary. That is all. Benefits were weak. Management was insane. The CEO thinks he's a media mogul when he's just a failed newspaper reporter -- I propagandist.

Cons

Everything else. Requiring "managers" to punch a time clock. No business plan, just duping unsuspecting yokels to buy their crappy products and get a "free" subscription to their pathetic magazine.
