Managers count IC's PRs every week. That's their job. ICs make everything happen. Managers chill. There is proof everywhere.

Cons

Managers are not accountable for anything. The Head of Engineering at this company are the most incompetent people (who probably got sent out from other unsuccessful companies)

- decent folks at the IC level - culture is so toxic, you can really trauma-bond with your colleagues!

Cons

- the culture is laughably bad - was common to laugh with colleagues during and after town halls at how horrible the culture has become. - mid-level managers range from incompetent to downright toxic (esp in DS). And in most instances, one would come from a meeting questioning if a mid-level manager had any relevant experience. - truly, the most horrible experience of my career. If i could give more detail I would, but I've never seen anything as poorly run as this company. Run far away, fast.
