Pros

This company is to be used as a climbing ladder to move on. Customer is always put first. I would say free Monday breakfast, every other Wednesday is free Ice Cream and Fridays is a random Lunch. I feel the poor pay is used to pay for these services. However, I put it as a pro for mild recognition, even if you are paying for it.

Cons

Underpaid for what you do. If you do well, you will be "promoted" falsely with more accountability, pressure and the pay rate won't budge, unless you ask for it, then good luck in waiting for that to be seen. Therefore, you are 100% under valued due to the poor management. Nextiva claims competitive pay rates. However, one of their main competitors pays $6 an hour more. Medical Insurance lacks options. There is no games room (Nextiva claims it is available). The Xbox is in the break room. The break times are dreadful! The two 15 minute breaks are more like 8-10 minutes due to the micro management. You have to ask for your lunch breaks at times (I am not joking!) otherwise you WILL miss out. You will get different answers per team lead. Dane holds the ship very tight and he does an excellent job! Sean is right behind him and is well respected. However, the upper management is lacking in care and professional management. You must attend classes AFTER your shift which could be 30minutes to two hours after your shift and that is before they even start! (Yes you will be paid for this, but it is mandatory). We recently received a recognition on our hard work, yet there was no sign on the CEO. The Nerf guns are never out, calls are back to back and are lacking staff to help. You must work some Saturdays. Your shifts will change once in awhile due to the daylight savings in other states.

The company is growing fast and is not immune to growing pains. The company does its best and usually corrects pretty quickly.

Pros

The best part about working Sales at Nextiva is you're in control of your own destiny. If you have the drive and hunger to succeed and grind then you will be successful. The ongoing training and new product launches keep you on your toes and continue to present new revenue streams for your pipeline and new customers.

Cons

The pace of growth has been so large it is getting tougher to remember all the new faces!
