No matter the industry or corporation, everyone’s career paths are different and somewhat unique. Yet it would seem that the roads we choose to follow coincide directly with our work values’ affinities.
For me, Nextiva is more than a workplace, it is a community of highly driven professionals where being great and delivering superior results for our customers is the starting point of what defines us. We are fortunate to have a leadership culture that is supportive of growing talent from within the company and also inviting strong outside contributors.
Nextiva embraces the diversity of its people and the inclusion of forward-moving ideas and solutions to meet the needs of its increasingly global and diverse customer base. We set challenging goals we struggle to achieve, because by stretching and coming out of our comfort zones to meet them we can get further than we expected. We don’t shy away from trying new practical methods and making mistakes along the way while we strive to resolve difficult problems.
We are not perfect.
We are still learning, evolving, growing and innovating. Team work and accountability keeps us moving forward. We do realize the job market is full of other options… Yet we choose to contribute and work at Nextiva because we find affinity to these values. At the end of the day, our focus is on delivering working software timely to delight our customers – as a team effort. We invite everyone with similar affinity to our culture and work values to come help us deliver superior results. I hear we are still looking for additional result oriented Python and Java developers.
Like in most situations, regardless of the industry or company, the choice is still ours… to internalize, realize and decide if we want to be a part of the impediment or a part of the solution.
Cons
We’ve got a lot of great work to do and very little time to do it all. We are finding new effective ways to scale out ourselves.
