Pros

Good office environment, hands on training, and willingness to improve. Deep interest in the product and roadmap. I see tons of resources going towards the future of the company. Product continues to get better and customers are nice to deal with 98 times out of 100. Office feels like an office of a small company. People know each other by name and I met my two closest friends here.

Cons

Overwhelming amount of information to know. Training and wiki help but still not enough. Some new hires come out with not enough knowledge so I need to step in and help while continuing to do my work. No investments are made in tv ads. Very few partnerships with other companies to help drive more sales or onsite installation.

Not too bad, not too great either

Pros

-Management at least tries not to be too invasive. -lots of talent here.

Cons

-getting promoted takes too long, never saw anyone promoted in the 6mos I was there. -co-workers always talking about money problems, they don't get paid enough, when I left Nextiva to go to a much better position/company the entire dynamic of coworker conversations changed (buying new stuff, a house, latest hardware, etc).

Some of the most brilliant senior leadership of any company I've ever worked for. They make smart non-emotional decisions that have the companies and employees best interests at heart. Putting the company and employees first in decision making combined with a lot of transparency of decisions really aligns the company goals with the employees. At nextiva you are treated as an adult with the right level of autonomy, we work hard, have fun, and have lots of opportunities to advance our careers.
