Faking "Great Culture" through personality hires and social media fronts

Pros

Scottsdale is a cool town, especially if you are looking for warm weather in the winter.

Cons

After a very short stint with this company, I can honestly say it was a relief when I was impacted by their RIF a few months ago. The entire place is a charade - from the false promises they make to their customers, the beyond cheesy Youtube videos full of fake news, to the "bonding" experiences pushed on the AZ based employees hiding behind the curtain of good causes. At least those hopefully helped charities or people outside of the organization. The C** is the most cocky and unpleasant executive I have ever worked under from a management standpoint. He operates in an ivory tower behind smoke and mirrors to the non-higher ups, but in reality drives a fear based (and extremely non-productive) mentality. You will never have more meetings about meetings to prepare for dealing with him. He thinks he is similar to an a very sucessful person on Shark Tank from the same place - laughable. In closing, worth noting the complete lack of any sort of cross-functional alignment and a new frustrating silo to discover every day. Different departments waste money on extremely expensive tools that do the same thing. Leaders are constantly dreaming up duplicative projects, so resource spend is also getting washed down the drain. Not to mention the drag of spending every day spinning your wheels as an employee. Unless there is a massive change in operations, this company is destined for failure. 10/10 would not recommend.

Thank you for sharing the reasons that Nextiva wasn't a great fit for you. It's important to work for places that you value and that you enjoy. RIF's are a hard way to part from a company, but from the sound of your review, it sounds like it was for the best based on how you felt. We hope you exactly what you're looking for in your next career chapter!

The hiring process was very agile, practical, and clear from the beginning. Nextiva has fulfilled everything it offered me in the job offer, and even much more. I have also greatly enjoyed the amenities and benefits that come with being part of this wonderful company, which has not only provided me with employment but has positively changed my life.

Cons

So far, I haven't found any inconvenience.
