Not what I thought

Pros

- opportunity to work with other technical teams more so than I've had in the past - heavy workload and responsibility that prepared me to get a promotion outside the company

Cons

- Rampant Nepotism - Double Standards to the MAX! - hiring the wrong talent and paying them over market. the Solution when they can't do their job, is to spread the work/responsibilities to other TM's (and not increase those manager's comp to take on the other TM's shortcomings). TM = Team member - Gender and workload inequeties within the same team and job leveling across the org (I was HQ based, not as sure on the MFG side) - Toxic team environments or "kool-aide" teams (the teams that are drinking the NIA kool-aide) - micro managing and Clueless leadership - hiring too many very junior people - senior leadership blocking team members from making a job change
