Pros
Extra Perks like free coffee, hot chocolate, flexible and understanding coworkers, among others. The atmosphere is nice and often co-ops get hired if they stay the course
Cons
The position I was in was sold as a normal co-op where you would learn the position that you would eventually be hired for but, the position ended up being more of a low-wage Excel-filler, grunt worker. The position had a high turnover rate as the worker was extremely monotonous. The company also cut salaries and benefits as soon as the pandemic hit. I find that quite telling.
