Pros
- Nidec is extremely fast-paced. Not for everyone, but if you like a fast paced environment, and a role where you are expected to make a difference through change, this will be a good fit for you. - The company continues to evolve in a positive way. Most departments offer flexible working arrangements, and the bonus structure seems to promote performance. - The people are great! Everyone is very nice, and the leadership is approachable. It is very easy to find help and ask questions. - Very good co-op and internship program! Seems like there are 100 co-ops here. - Hired earlier this summer and apparently the company had gone through some HR changes recently. My experience during the interviewing and hiring was very positive. Everyone was welcoming and very honest about the role and the expectations. The paperwork and first day was also easy and organized.
Cons
A ton of information gets thrown at you quickly. A lot to learn in a short period of time. This is all manageable, but almost overwhelming.
