Pros
Consistent with its values, Nixon doesn't refer to anyone as an employee. The Company feels that the term “associate” is a more appropriate description since each person is expected to work together as a team of respected individuals. The company has a long track record of consistent growth. The stated purpose of the company is to grow and create opportunities that enrich each other's lives. Management is populated with lots of people who were interested in professional/personal growth and worked toward assuming more responsibility. Leadership is highly receptive to feedback and the company works hard to align itself with its purpose and values. If you are looking to learn, grow, and contribute, it is a great place to work!
Cons
If you don't fit with the culture and values of the organization, you won't be happy at Nixon. Total employment is nearly 500 associates, but it feels smaller. You can make a name for yourself and be recognized for your work, but if you are looking to kick-back and relax, you will find the environment challenging.
