Business is currently changing because of a number of factors. Losing certain kinds of work. Experienced employees are stretched thin while newer employees don't get trained or placed on projects. Promotions are slow.

Rigorous, interesting work that adds value and is ultimately in the public interest. Ethical standards. Unbiased recommendations to clients. Emphasis on collaboration and teamwork. Smart, friendly co-workers. Schedule flexibility. Ability to work remotely. Benefits. Many really experienced, seasoned professionals.

Cons

The professional development budget got eaten up pretty quickly, so it was hard to get supplemental training (without doing it on your own time and dollar). Reputation for being expensive (to clients); budgeting a project is always challenging due to billing rates and lots of senior staff.
