Pros
Work is challenging albeit stressful at times. Almost all work at Noblis is challenging and interesting. People are smart and you get to collaborate with smart people. After everything I said below, I stay at Noblis b/c the work is good compared to elsewhere.
Cons
People who bring in work get promoted and become favorites. Like another reviewer said, rampant favoritism is a problem. People who are able to bring in work get a free pass to do whatever and treat others badly. Managers who bring in work and manage customers well get promoted. Managers who take care of employees for the sake of managing are a rare and dying breed. Everyone is smart here but not everyone is treated well here. We are in best places to work for working mothers list but people have gotten turned down to go part time b/c it is at manager's discretion. As stated above, managers can do whatever as long as they bring in the work and put employee consideration second. Benefits are on par with competitors. Don't let the Best Places to Work designation fool you--we filled in the very lengthy paperwork to get considered because there is someone here whose job is to fill it in each year. Many other places that are better just didn't bother to enter the contest. Culture on the lower level is to be smart, perfectionist, show off when you can and never admit you don't know something.
