Salary review are horible. Raises are poor. It is not common to get a raise when you get a promotion. In order to give a higher raise to one person, someone else has to get a lower raise, even if everyone is a high performer. You are not rewarded for good work.

As noted above, the culture is laid back. This contributes to big time complacency. People are not motivated to do much. There is absolutely no training in this company. You are expected to learn on your own. It took me a few years just to understand the basics of what we sell. Management does not clearly outline the goals and objectives.
