Pros

PTO, Friendly coworkers, flex time.

Cons

(1) This year's company survey results was not even shared. Must have not been very good. (2) It was announced bonus will be handed out early to help us enjoy christmas and that it was very good. Turns out, it is not very good . (3) Stop investing money on things that are not gonna help the company. This includes redoing factory lines that were working well, redoing the floors, putting in new lighting. (4) Raises this year, we all expected it to be good. But yet again, not even worth getting. Worse, they justify it by saying they did market research and this is what everyone else pays. Clearly this is not the case, as people are leaving left and right to other companies with much better pay.

Change in culture and benefits

Pros

Interesting work and industry leader in dispensing. Brilliant, friendly, and hardworking team of employees. Holiday week shutdown during Christmas is great. Pension was offered during my employment and there is a focus on charitable giving. Before change in leadership, fantastic benefits and employees were treated well.

Cons

Leadership has decided to reduce or eliminate all of the great benefits for profit reasons. 1) eliminated $2500 childcare reimbursement 2) Changed profit sharing from equal dollar amount for every employee to 3.5% of salary in a profitable year. This was a huge bonus for production employees but now vastly less. 3) Mandated 10 hour workdays plus weekends with no PTO when production does not meet targets. 4) Replaced the annual holiday party with a box of chocolates or blanket or box of fruit. Limit one per employee. Not even close to the equivalent value of the holiday party where a spouse is invited for free. 5) Annual increases of health insurance premiums for employees while executives can get 100% raises. Some companies that don't mind absorbing some costs but even $0.50 increases are passed on to employees. 6) Talented people are often laid off to cut costs or if they openly disagree with management. 7) Employer HSA contribution was even changed to be distributed quarterly instead of lump sum in January to reduce Q1 expenses
