Pros

* From early 2022 1. Good pay 2. Bonuses the lowest was a £70 gift voucher, the highest was £2000, 3. Friendly, 4. bragging rights at the pub for making cool stuff (Xray machines for electronics that actually use Gamma rays), very long honeymoon period before the politics start to get on your nerves.

Cons

*From early 2022 1. Little to no autonomy due to top down management. Which is difficult to change due to huge chains of command stretching from Aylesbury, across the UK to America. When trying to change how you work, to make it more efficient or based on circumstances you will probably be nagged. 2. The CEO has bright ideas that are enforced by relentless nagging, yet any assembler with six months experience will tell you it isn't good and because they hire very good experienced workers, production remains fairly high, but they could easily smash their targets if they let their experienced, highly qualified workers do their job. For example the CEO insisted units must be made one at a time, despite having lots of different parts and tools required. Management didn't dare tell him it was a bad idea. 3. Paperwork, especially stock levels are not kept up to date which causes chaos. Then instead of making sure the system is followed they experiment with weird and wonderful systems which they fail to follow. 4. They constantly try to cut cost on parts and the result is poor fitment and high failure rates. You are often instructed to use parts that are blatantly defective.
