Advancement opportunities severely limited, especially for non-engineers Leadership very lacking. Most managers were either bullying or too afraid to make a decision. All are too willing to sacrifice their employees for personal safety and career advancement. Increasingly corporate, focused on buying sales numbers through acquisitions, cutting costs by taking it out of employee benefits, chasing latest corporate trends.

1. Culture. Lack of integrity, trust and dishonesty at the leadership level. This is hard when the strategy is built on "culture & values" 2. Senior leadership, (VP / SVP & CEO) show no acknowledgment, emotional intelligence or energy towards addressing the culture or treatment at the local business group level or the teams. 3. To be blunt: Old, white male leaders, older tenure with very little motivation to change. 4. A "conditioned" way of thinking, which does not lend to open thoughts or innovative / out of the box ideation. Hence, more of a do as you are told and black listed to voice a different approach or ideas, especially at the local level.
