Pros

Competitive Pay Very easy to use & convenient register system Great, personable co-workers. Mostly honest sales people Great employee discount

Cons

Every day was physically and mentally draining Management was very bossy - expect to be told what to do all the time. Management doesn't sell very often, yet reap the benefits of everyone else. Slow seasons are excruciatingly boring, while sales are absolutely hectic. Expect to see a few dishonest salesmen here and there.

Pros

Nordstrom provides a very positive work culture, and everyone within the company is very suppostive. Management encourages education, and everyone is willing to work around school schedules.

Cons

The pay is decent in almost any position, but those on salary often end up working 60+ hours a week and should be given more bonuses/ better compensation.
