Pros

Promote from within, excellent customer service training, overall fun industry

Cons

Physically exhausting, too many performance metrics to meet, pressure to push credit cards and capture email addresses, company politics - people who suck up and are pushy to achieve sales are promoted before hardworking employees who might not have the highest sales but have good work ethic, Management works long hours, retail hours are dificult
