Pros

-Commission, (which can be good and bad) -Ability to be promoted is good -Interaction with customers is good. -It is a very solid company

Cons

-Hard work! -Hours were difficult sometimes -A slow week can bring a very bad paycheck, no matter how good you are.

Pros

One of the best reasons to work at nordstrom is the employee discount, followed by the relaxed supervision, another good reason is that you earn your pay based on comission.

Cons

They are not very flexable when it comes to something else you have going on in your life- say school. They are a career focused organization and they seem to think "nordstroms for life" which is fine if your okay with making less than 24,000 a year for the rest of your life.
