Pros

Nordstrom is a great company to work for. They provide advancement for those who are working hard, and sales is emphasized. Management is in a supportive role. Promotes from within.

Cons

If you plan on getting promotions, be prepared to work ALL THE TIME. I worked as many as 80 hours in a week.

Pros

Free lunch from the cafe, fun atmosphere if you like your co workers. Flexible with hours and scheduling if you need to take off.

Cons

Many times there is no room to grow in the company, because they bring in outside people. The customers are always number one but many times the upper management will not listen to your side.
