The pay, 11 dollars the hour

Cons

They would let’s say schedule us to work from 6pm to 2 am, they put the store on lockdown for markdowns and then say we can’t leave until all the work is done, then we are forced to stay until whenever they let us leave usually being 5am, no breaks, nothing. You can imagine this ambiguous treatment of the schedule being irritating when one doesn’t have a car and said significant other ends up waiting outside three hours to 4 hours. Super clicky, the management and department managers have something to say about everything you do.

Pros

The discount, 20% off at Nordstrom, NordstromRack, and Hautelook, is great. The pay is also great, well above minimum wage. I worked in an early morning position and loved the more relaxed environment of that, just marking down items and listening to music. The team is also very helpful and makes the work fun.

Cons

The pace is very fast, there's always something that needs to get done, helping a customer or cleaning up a zone. The customers (at least at my particular location), made it very hard to keep the store clean. There's a lot of work that goes into just getting items off the floor, so be prepared for your back and feet to hurt at first.

Good starting Base pay for retail job interview process was as simple as possible There is Growth opportunity within the company

Cons

Rover position is pretty much filling in whatever company needs extra hours so no set schedule, which was fine for me but may not be for everyone.
