      Pros

      The scientific resources are plentiful. Also, the environment fosters collaboration and interdisciplinary work. Many people in the department are kind, and easy to get along with. Data resources are great--D.H. Hill is a great source of scientific literature.

      Cons

      There aren't many cons, but if I had to pick a few, I would start with parking. The parking situation there is a pain to say the least. Also, the facilities management people aren't the easiest to work with.

      Pros

      Tuition is paid in full as a teaching assistant. Salary isn't a lot but it is enough. Flexible working hours.

      Cons

      Can't really say that I have any cons. As a teaching assistant, much of your experience is going to be based on what class and professor you are assigned to.

      Pros

      You get to set your work hours around your class schedule. You work with student athletes and help them study. A very good job if you are interested in teaching.

      Cons

      The athletes sometimes want you to do their homework for them and the staff doesn't seem to care much about the athletes' academic career as long as they stay eligible.
