Pros

I work in a research group with great people. I have as much freedom and as much support as I like. The salary is competitive and I was able to get additional funding for moving abroad to do research. I have not spent much time in Boston, but that is also a clear plus.

Cons

I cannot really think of any cons. I work with great people, I have a lot of freedom, I have support, and the pay is competitive; what can I say? There is a bit of bureaucracy, but not any more than the same job at other places.

Good co-op programs for undergrads. Beautiful campus. Study oversees programs. International and gender diversity. Good health insurance. New buildings. Good scientific facilities. Situated in Boston Downtown which is great.

Cons

It seems that people are just way too stressed at Northeastern so it is difficult to enjoy the overall atmosphere.
