Pros

Lots of opportunity to learn various aspects of all sorts of positions within higher education. Excellent benefit package for full time employees (including tuition). Changes in current management seem to be underway and for the better.

Cons

Administrative roles within Bouve' College of Health Sciences experience high turn over and riddled in poor management and senior level management. Administrative employee's along with the students and faculty of Bouve' are seen as numbers and only hold fiscal relevancy to the college. Senior Management charades itself as innovative and inclusive while holding true to a rigid autocratic management style giving way to lots of interoffice gossip behind the scenes ridicule/pecking orders that are in no way constructive or positive work environments. Senior Management remains blissfully unaware of the true day to day operations that hold their department or college together. They offer no training or support to administrative staff from the beginning of hire through the duration of employment as they simply do not know how to, nor want to understand the roles of many other than their own. No work life balance exists for those acquiring more work along with no foreseeable incentives. New ideas or innovative suggestions are often scoffed at behind closed doors. Constant failures on behalf of management to move any/all positive changes to full resolution either due to lack of ability/competence in their own roles or for fear of ruffling senior management feathers.
