Pros

Always a learning experience, For the most part great people, 12 hr shifts, is room to grow, and is a great place to come for services and to get better.

Cons

Bennefits could have better coverage for employees, and pay could be better for the amount of experience someone has. and more employee appriecation would be better.( some dont get enough credit!)

Depending on your position, this is a great hospital.

Pros

The insurance benefits are great. You get Paid Time Off after 90 days. The food at the State Street and the Fore River hospitals are cooked by chefs. Outstanding food.

Cons

Holiday pay comes out of your PTO. In my case, I support a department but am reviewed by a different department. The person who does my review does not know my job duties at all.

Pros

I was proud to work at a branch of EMMC as a transcriptionist for over 6 years. I worked at home. Initially, I was paid well. I enjoyed my job very much and looked forward to being of service to this company until retirement.

Cons

The institution of the VBC line counting system was a way for the company to cut corners, primarily us. Our pay was cut and we had to produce more lines. I did make the line count but in order to achieve this, I could not take breaks. I became stressed to the point of injury and had to leave this career.
