Pros

Great training provided with good pay (80% of what the competition offers but still money for jam) for what you do. Equal opportunity employer that prefers Local employees over FIFO workers and supports Regional investment.

Cons

Like all mining jobs, you have to accept the Good with the Bad with the quality of people (both coworkers and management). "Purple-Circle" happens to often for a STARR Values company.

Pros

Benifits are cheap, you get a room while on site, you get fed on site.

Cons

84 hour work weeks, 28 on 14 off. or 21 on 21 off.

Pros

Good pay. Good benefits. Good camp facilities.

Cons

Somewhat chaotic management style from shifter on up. Pay grade advancement is never brought up unless it is by you. Many hoops to jump through for a raise from what I’ve seen.
