      They respect their employees and compensate them fairly. They offer different chances to move towards goals depending on your strengths.

      Cons

      The size of the company can lead to group think! If you do not work very hard, you can just get by. You need to work at standing out to get promoted! But then there is a very clear path to success

      Pros

      Competent company, with a successful business model. This company will allow growth opportunities IF you are in the correct area. This company offers a great benefits package in comparison to other companies. A very diverse company. Overall this is a good company.

      Cons

      Northern can "lull" a person to sleep with itsability to make an individual feel comfortable. Advancement opportunities within management are based off of tenure a majority of times and not skill (but there are numerous exceptions). Salary at times can be below average to those employees whom were promoted internally. This creates a salary lag which might not ever be made up. Can be described as a consensous culture, which will create a longer decision making process.
