It's better than being unemployed.
Cons
They are myopic, old school, non-competitive, and aspire to mediocrity at best. Management is often ill trained and unskilled at seeing the big picture. They tend to be penny wise and pound foolish relative to compensation and talent retention. The work is agonizingly boring, especially if you have even a glint of intellect or ambition, and they treat $500 bonuses as though they have handed you world peace with a side of perpetual health and youth. It is a pathetic culture best suited to lobotomized trons.
