Pros

work life balance is excellent - flexible hours, people are really good about others taking vacations, etc. Good job stability during turbulent times.

Cons

not a lot of upward mobility, unexciting work for ambitious people. typically not a lot of middle aged people to work with - so either fresh college grads or people who are about to retire.

Pros

Northrop Grumman is a good company to get started in. There are a lot of opportunities but finding one that fits can be tough in a big company. Networking is key.

Cons

Still a good old boy culture. Age gap between younger and more senior employees typical of engineering company. Promotions and raises aren't really merit based.
