Pros

The flexibility and the work-life balance are great at NG. In addition, NG has a real-world mission that makes your work extremely important.

Cons

Some of the downsides of working at Northrop Grumman were the opportunities for advancement and lateral transfers within the company.

Pros

Like many defense contractors, your mileage may vary depending on what contract you support. It is difficult to give pros and cons for the company as a whole. In my experience, Northrop Grumman does a great job of hiring great talent but fails to keep the best talent. The work environment is collegial and enjoyable, but the pay and benefits are at best at par or slightly sub-par.

Cons

Only criticism is that pay raises seemed to be very butter spread. The raise given to the best performer was only slightly better than the worst performer. This strategy hardly inspires exceptional effort.
