      Growing hospital system, opportunities if the environment is right for you

      Cons

      During your HR orientation, they talk about mentoring programs, a culture designed to keep employees for their careers. None of it happened for me. I asked about it. Nothing. This was my first foray into healthcare systems. Culture embraces lack of professionalism. Email go without responses. Calls go unanswered. If you come from a business background and assume professional courtesy, be wary.

      Pros

      I've gained a lot of experience from fellow co-workers. The majority of my coworkers are very nice and helpful.

      Cons

      There really isn't anyone following up on ensuring that everyone gets trained properly. I haven't had anyone check up on me or tell me if I'm doing a good job or if there are areas that I should improve on.
