Pros

Financially Stable, I really enjoyed working there. All the people were friendly.

Cons

You are pigeon holed into doing one thing and one thing only. I like being involved in all aspects of the SDLC. This job did not allow that.

Pros

You really feel you're a part of a family working here. Everybody's very respectful of one another, even if they don't necessarily agree with each other, and everyone understands when work needs to be done. Nobody really slacks off because we're all in this together, so everyone puts forth their best efforts to accomplish their jobs. I am especially proud to tell people who I work for, and they seem like they genuinely want to do the right thing for their employees and customers.

Cons

The pay is a bit below average compared with other similar jobs in the area, but their benefits more than make up for it.

Pros

They give you free lunch and have a no layoff policy so there's good job security. The job is nine to five and you always know your work hours. The company tries their best to assist you if you feel like you would like to work in a different area of the organization.

Cons

Its a more traditional, conservative company so it may take longer to work your way up. The base compensation was competitive but still no the highest out there. As well, there was no signing bonus. The aggressive tactics used for selling the insurance as well as finding people to sell it really irritate a lot of people and do not give them a good impression of an otherwise great company.
