Pros
Pros: Extremely laid back work environment. Wear whatever you want, and phone usage is permitted on the floor though with the direction the company is starting to take I don’t see this continuing long term. Benefits are okay, coworkers are mostly kind and relaxed to be around. Current supervisor for the production floor is a strong ally to their employees. He is a respectable individual who is willing to work with you with whatever life events might come up and truly develop you as an employee and person. Cons Inefficient systems, test stands fail frequently and often have part shortages. Market as a “small company who cares for it’s employees” but the higher up the person you’re speaking with is the less likely they are to care about you on a personal level. Pay is abysmal and room for growth within the company is non existent without a four year degree. Summary: Honestly an easy job if you’re looking to get experience in the tech or electrical career sector, but not a career company. Would not recommend for those seeking a life long commitment. Company is fairly inefficient in most of their practices with little recognition for the skills and abilities of production workers. You’re unlikely to move up the ranks here, but it’ll provide you the experience necessary to get a better paying career job somewhere else with a relatively low stress experience.
