Enjoyed what I did as I worked for Novant

Cons

After working for the company for 13 years and being terminated due to information that was brought to a manager without asking questions. Things have happened in the company with a violation however, those that violated things from the handbook was slapped on the hand and remained in Novant. I worked hard and did my job well and one thing that they stated I did incorrectly, which they couldn’t justify in the employee handbook still terminated me after 13 years not a good company. Meetings that are done they always talk about how they work with their employees and they’re there for you and they listen to you. That’s not true.

• Lead enterprise-wide strategies to eliminate health disparities, embed equity into clinical operations, and improve patient experience and safety KPIs. • Engaged over 30 community partners and advisory councils to integrate patient and community voice into system design. • Drove execution of large-scale community activations, including Charlotte Health Fest and It Takes a Village, in partnership with Labcorp and public officials. • Collaborated with Government Relations to assess the impact of state/federal policy on patient care and access. • Collaborated with Patient Experience leadership to develop a system-wide Health Equity Dashboard, implement targeted strategies to increase HCAHPS survey response rates among underrepresented populations, and co-create a Health Equity Grievance Review Process to identify and address disparities in patient complaints and resolution pathways.

Cons

I honestly loved this role. I was able to grow exponentially, guided by phenominal leadership.
