      Great mission but terrible benefits

      Pros

      Opportunity to support an important mission as someone who does not have a clinical background. I felt like I was making an impact within an administrative role.

      Cons

      Toxic work culture and horrible management. The benefits are also terrible, particularly their PTO policy. There isn’t much flexibility if you have a family which is why I left.

      Walk away and don't look back

      Pros

      Pay is okay but other hospitals pay better There are a few good people who really care but unfortunately those individuals are not the managers.

      Cons

      Bullying both overt and covert Unfairness/favoritism from manager who is incompetent Retaliation for being honest and standing up for myself and when I told HR, they kept the same people in charge even after I let the manager know that I had witnessed a staff member hitting another staff member. Managers and HR do NOT care to make any changes when given reports of bullying.
