Novate Solutions reviews

I joined the Novate team two years ago as I'd known them previously as a solutions provider that I referred my clients to when other traditional systems integrators failed due to lack of process or technical expertise. For the twenty years in the control systems market, I've previously worked for large corporations and took a chance joining a smaller organization... and it absolutely was the right call. This is a dynamic organization that prides itself on the quality of solutions that we provide to our customers. Many companies say they care, but that caring is a pillar of this company culture. I've had the opportunity to influence the direction of the company and dive into different areas of the business. They even care enough about their people to put in a process to track professional development goals and make sure team members are aligned with management expectations to set up everyone for success.

I worked for Novate during the "great recession", and I think that the best measure of a person/company is when things are hard. Multiple times cashflow was incredibly tight and in order to make payroll the CEO would delay, even for weeks at a time forgo his own salary so he could pay his employees. As the economy improved, and finances at the company improved, the wealth was shared with employees, with increases in salary, bonuses, better benefits, and other perks, like company cars, paid vacations, etc. After several months of a grueling project, an engineer that loved to snowboard was sent on a company paid trip to Aspen to get some R&R. I have never worked for a company that truly cared so much about employees whole well being. I left to pursue a career in teaching, but would consider returning to Novate if I ever wanted to return to the private sector.
