All companies say they’re “people first,” but this company ACTUALLY is!

I’ve been at companies where HR writes reviews for the company because they’re trying to disguise the poor employee morale. From what I can tell, no one from HR is writing the reviews here. That’s because this place kinda makes you wanna go out of your way to write a good review for it. NuAxis makes a home for next level professionals—this place attracts a workforce that is smart AND kind. This is the least siloed place I’ve worked—and this is government contracting!! Everyone lends a hand, and this starts at the leadership level. The leadership sets the tone here—they care deeply about the well-being of their workforce, and that tone is reinforced throughout the ranks. There’s a reason why most of the reviews here emphasize that fact repeatedly. The same care is extended to clients, and I’ve never seen a company so invested in making sure their clients are taken care of. I’ve met some of the best program managers I’ve ever worked with as a result—they will legit do anything to be an actual trusted partner to their government counterparts. I’ve been working for a while—I’ve never had the kind of experience at another company as I’ve had here. I feel like this is a place you’re lucky to find once in your career.
Cons
There’s a lot of work. There are also growing pains like every small company evolving to a mid-sized company. But overall, it’s a pretty amazing place.
