      Everyone is very competent and the competition for leadership is high. Compete shoulder-to-shoulder with deck hands.

      fair pay, pay-for-performance, high annual bonus, working with competent individuals, they encourage and help facilitate cross-training.

      Cons

      rural locations, lack of sufficient succession plan across positions, strong position stagnation or gatekeeping, very slow vertical movement.

      Pros

      Pay was okay, but well below standards. Depending on what type of leader you get, your experience could be awesome and empowering.

      Cons

      I wasted decades here with the constant assurance that I was destined for moving up, great things. It was simply to keep me working as long as possible. Very disappointed. Some of the teammates are the best people I've ever worked with, but the leadership is filled with nothing but people who are echos of anyone above them. If you have any different opinions, ideas of the leader you have, you're simply not "Nucor" material and not on board their ideas.
