Pros

Fun place to work, good enviornment

Cons

Raises, a quarter a year for a raise wont do it for numerous employees. unlivable wages, only time to make it is to work overtime in which everyone in leadership is trying to cut off. 8 hours a day at 40 hours a week, bi weekly pay at about $1200 is unbelievable for what endorsements they want you to have here in this company.

Terrible management in the HRCS

Pros

The only forms of leadership that seem to be present are focused on employee support and payroll, with little attention given to fostering a positive, growth-oriented work culture.

Cons

Ive held my tongue for a few years, now working in a healthy work environment again, I believe warning people of the culture within the HRSC at Nutrien. I’ve had significant concerns regarding the leadership styles of both the Onboarding Supervisor and the Data Admin Leader. It appears that they may be relatively new to leadership roles and may not have received formal training in leadership skills, which could be contributing to their current approach. Unfortunately, their behavior has been less than constructive, with instances of speaking poorly about team members (on their teams and higher lever leadership) to each other and within the broader organization. This type of communication creates a toxic atmosphere that undermines morale and trust within the team. Furthermore, employees are consistently guarding and protecting each other, a clear sign of the negative impact this leadership is having on team dynamics. Instead of fostering a collaborative, open environment, it seems the culture has become one of constant vigilance and self-preservation. Both individuals also appear to focus heavily on tactical execution as to how to manipulate senior leadership rather than fostering a positive, supportive work culture. Their interactions with senior leadership seem to be strategically managed, but it’s becoming evident that these dynamics are affecting team cohesion and employee well-being. In my years of experience in HR, I’ve rarely encountered an environment where this type of leadership is prevalent, and I believe senior leadership should investigate these concerns further to ensure a healthier, more effective workplace for all. To top it off, they have a revolving door of contractors because of how poorly they are treated compared to full time employees.

Pros

Nutrien is a great place to work, great leaders and awesome coworkers. Benefits are great including a generous 401k match.

Cons

Lots of recent org changes but once the new structure is in place there shouldn’t be much more moving around.
