Empowering place to grow, contribute, and make an impact

Pros

Nuvei is a place where you’re truly trusted to do your work. There’s a strong sense of autonomy for me. I am given the space to make decisions, take initiative, and grow my impact. Leadership encourages ideas and provides a safe environment to speak up, which makes collaboration and problem-solving energizing. Opportunities for learning and cross-functional exposure are everywhere (you just have to prioritize), and it feels like your voice can genuinely shape how things are done.

Cons

Town halls could feature a bit more visibility into the people side of the business - hearing more about employee programs, culture, and development efforts (alongside the product and tech updates) would help balance the story and celebrate the broader team impact.

Not As Employee Centered As They Preach

Pros

Global Payments Processor that is gobbling up other processors so lots of potential for the company to keep growing.

Cons

Company welcomes you with one hand and prepares to sink the knife in your back after 90 days. They won't work with you if you have special requests even if you have been with companies they have acquired for years.

Pros

Although I recently started with Pivotal, I left a 20 year career with another company because I think Pivotal has a ton of potential and was expanding their operations in AZ. The old location in north phoenix is nice office, but the new office at Sky Song in south Scottsdale will help Pivotal recruit top talent from the entire valley. I like how “employee forward” Pivotal is, they took the time to establish 3 committees as a response to employee feedback in a survey. Now there are social events, improved training opportunities and enhanced communication tools to foster a connected and engaged workforce. As the company laid the foundation for its growth acquiring new tools, resources, and processes…. It means getting to “build new” more often than “doing the same thing that has been done the same way for years” creating lots of opportunity for personal growth and a challenging work environment rather than drone like drudgery.

Cons

Some functions are very eastern time zone centric, so hours of operation are very early for AZ participants. Not a real problem unless you are more of a night owl.
