So much good, but unfortunately, so much bad as well.
Pros
At a store level, the environment is relatively friendly and cordial. Most people do carry their own weight as far as the workload goes and the employee discount is more than adequate. The training, while admittedly kind of scant, is more than supplemented by day-to-day experience.
Cons
It kind of pains me to write anything in this column, but there is definitely a darker side as well. There are no full-time positions other than management and no medical benefits are even offered to part-time employees. Pay is low for the amount of work that we need to accomplish on a daily basis. There needs to be a standard for employee behavior and work ethic, as there is too many people that know an awful lot but do nothing to help with the operation of the store.
