Pros

Good human resources department. Many upper management phone numbers available to all employees. Stable employment with company that has a large market share. Decent benefits package available to all full time employees plus stock purchase program and profit sharing. Company also has plenty of technology and resources to make all positions easy to live with.

Cons

No real prospects for meaningful advancement past store management team (six years of employment and no chances for even assistant manager). Employer has no tuition reimbursement program. Pay is only competitive for a low-level high school education job.

Pros

Flexible Schedule Commission -Had a good manager at my previous store

Cons

No weekends off ever, while favorite employees get off every weekend Poor Management at current store District Manager also does a poor job Not paid enough for what is required of me Bullying by manager Micromanaged constantly Pick up slack for others, while the others just hang out Back counter people get priority, Delivery Drivers get second priority, Front counter part time people treated poorly Get to hear about mistakes from multiple, some of which aren't even your boss Favoritism (Guy calls out all the time, and if I say I'll be late because I'm getting out of my college class a little late, boss flips out on me...Guy who calls out gets nothing! This goes on with almost all employees) I could list for days, I like the job just hate how it is managed.
