Upper management is clueless and don’t want to know what really goes on on the districts as long as sales are up, you don’t matter. ZERO independent thinking, keep your thoughts to yourself and “Run the play”. They are like the Borg, “assimilate or be destroyed”. Little pockets of CSK snakes still exist and keep things covered up from corporate(not that they care). They use fear of termination as motivation.

I could go on and on about the cons of working at oreillys. Horrible hours, low pay, and horrible management! Management lies to employees to get the employee to do what they want or will hang a promotion like a carrot in front of you to get you to work the night and weekend shifts! Dont expect to ever get the time off you request, no matter how far in advance you ask for it. As far as getting rasies goes, don't expect one! If you do happen to get one it will be less than $.25 per hour! Management will also hire in new employees with no automotive experience at a higher wage than the experienced guys.
