Great place with Good People

Pros

The company has fantastic growth potential! They have a good balance between growth and staying mid range. The leadership team in very caring and personable. I feel this company truly cares about the hourly associates, more than any other company I have worked. They also promote from within a lot.

Cons

There is a little bit of the burnout-badge of honor syndrome especially in the Operations team. Lots of bragging about working long hours. Others have posted about lack of lunch breaks and it is true. Taking lunch break is a luxury. Most often lunch is rushing through a sandwich off camera. People often send lunch time meeting invites with a weak "I'm sorry to take your lunch break". No your not or you would not do it.

It's a good starting job

Cons

Favoritism no matter what building. HR was not much help correcting the issue. Management also have attitude. Have to get manager approval to apply for different position in the company, and good luck getting that!

Pros

Good support systems for the most part, IT was always very responsive and willing to help. Management, especially company officers will know your name and are very friend co-workers really get to feel like family, most people work hard, the job is basically what you make of it. Innovation was always encouraged. The culture is, for the most part, good, expect an overall casual and laid back feel.

Cons

The pay is iffy and there is definitely some favoritism/nepotism, advancing in the company can be difficult. There are definitely moments you will feel like you're on an island or buried in work. A bad manager/team lead can make or break your career here. Expect to work through your lunch (half hour) and if you don't to get a couple funny looks. This job will stress you out some days, especially with the state of logistics currently. I'm choosing the would not recommend to a friend option simply due to the messy state of logistics currently.
